Terms & Conditions
- Customer Accounts: E-Tec offers two types of accounts as follows:
- Credit Card Accounts: Your Visa or Master Card will be charged when your order is completed and ready to ship.
- Studio and Commercial Accounts: E-Tec provides a net-30 days from date of invoice. A 15% charge will be assessed on past due accounts.
- Service Times: In-hour schedules (48 hours) depending on complexity and the seasonal nature of the photography business, service time may vary during peak seasons. Please consider such factors when placing your orders.
- Shipping & Delivery: Orders over $75.00 will be shipped FREE via UPS or USPS ground service. Orders below $75.00, a flat rate of $5.00 applies. Express Delivery available, prices are based on weight and destination.
- Rush Orders: Rush services are available at a cost of 50% additional. Advance telephone notice is required.
- E-Tec uses Fugi paper.
Digital File Requirements
Simple Guidelines for Submission:
- E-Tec Photo Lab requires image files to be in jpg format. It is strongly suggested that you keep the original file and send us a copy. When saving a jpg file in Photoshop, save it with the compression setting set to a maximum quality - 12. Image file size saved in a jpg format should be between 1.6 and 2.5 mb for proofing and 4 to 8 mb for print sizes 8x10 to 20x24.
- E-Tec Photo Lab uses a color managed work flow. In order to match our system; files should be in sRGB color space. To ensure your files are in sRGB is to set your Photoshop color setting RGB working space as sRGB. Your digital camera color space should also be in sRGB.
- When renaming your files please so not use symbols such as tilde (~), slash (\or/), pound (#), parentheses ( () ), question mark (?), or copyright symbol (©) in the file name or the name of the CD. These symbols are not compatible with our production system. File name should not be more than 32 characters including extension.
- If you work in Photoshop, Corel, The Gimp or any other raster-based programs, be sure to send only flattened jpg images.
- If you color correct your own images, it is recommended using a color calibrated monitor. Our monitors are calibrated to a sRGB color space, with a color match temperature set at 6500kb.
Finished Prints
- No Correction: digital prints that are studio corrected for color, density, or contrast. Orders should be placed through one of our automated software options.
- Color Correction: digital prints are individually corrected for color, density and contrast to produce the highest possible quality finished product. orders can be placed through one of our automated software options.

LP Digital Studio

Ordering Options
E-Tec Photo Lab gives our clients different ways to place orders. These include our LabPrints software, FTP uploading, and mailing us a CD/DVD.
We highly recommend using our LabPrints software as it is the most efficient method. LabPrints is our most popular ordering method. It is a template based, drag and drop application that will allow you to crop your images and order from our entire catalog. You will have the ability to create proof books, wedding albums, greeting cards, editable pages, framed prints, and more. Some advantages to using the LabPrints program include ease of use, order email confirmation, free custom back printing, hundreds of options and product customizations, and a secure and streamlined method for file transfer. LabPrints orders can also be burned to DVD/CD.
DVD/CD
The is the ideal option for clients that do not have access to a high speed internet connection. You can burn your order to DVD or CD and mail it to:
